NEW YORK – Leading NYC-based general contracting and construction management company Aragon Construction, recently completed a full floor build-out for an international financial services firm. Aragon, working together with architectural and interior design firm Ted Moudis Associates, delivered the 8,000 SqFt floor in only 11 weeks.

The new space, which includes executive boardrooms, private offices, and a lounge, is serving as this international firm's NY executive offices. Nearly every surface of the entire floor contains cabinetry and niche millwork; exotic woods and stones such as rosewood and onyx were used throughout. A state-of-the-art boardroom features a drop down projector from the ceiling and fabric-wrapped walls for sound control. The office also contains cast glass walls; a special area for artwork and high-end plaster finishes.

“The new office is truly a showpiece space that has a luxury, residential feel,” says Aragon President Alex Getelman. “Many of the materials we utilized were very complicated in terms of matching and fitting. Every surface of this space had to be perfectly coordinated so that once the woodwork was fabricated; it could be slipped into place in a flawless and seamless way.”
