Aragon Construction recently renovated the entire 31st floor of 51 Madison Avenue to serve as the new national headquarters for top private investment firm, Accretive LLC.

With Aragon's experienced team at the helm of this project, in conjunction with TPG Architecture, 10,000 s of this Class A commercial tower were transformed and ready for the client move-in within 12 weeks of the project's kickoff.

Because integrating light into the space was the main design objective, Accretive's new office contains Dorma sliding glass doors throughout and Joel Burman back painted glass – revered worldwide for its unique handcrafted kiln-cast glass finishes. "We created a luminous, sophisticated and dynamic space that is all about light," said TPG Studio Design Director, Luc Massaux.

"The glass surfaces and LED installations capture and distribute light brilliantly."

Renovations also included installing Italian Citterio wall systems throughout the entirety of the space and a state-of the- art Creston lighting system.

The reception area and boardroom feature Venetian plaster wall finishes; a new pantry with coffee bar boasts a backlit, onyx back splash and a newly installed custom executive bathroom contains elegant fixtures such as an imported Italian stone sink. Limestone floors finish the lobby and reception area while the rest of the space is complemented with wood flooring and high-end millwork.

"Because we make a concentrated effort and deliver every time," says Aragon President and Founder Alex Getelman, "Accretive trusted us to build out their new space within a timeframe requiring a level of organization and dedication that we are known for throughout the industry."

Accretive LLC, which moved from 55 East 59th Street, is now fully functioning at 51 Madison Avenue, owned by New York Life with management provided by Jones Lang LaSalle.

"We are very happy in the space and now planning to expand," says Accretive's Office Manager, Bonnie Banks. "The new office lends itself to a more cohesive work environment."
